Eid Mubarak.

I have been in festive mood since early this month. With children around the centre, it's hard not to. Everyone was either talking about celebrating it or the holiday itself.

Now that we're back at the centre, we have a lot of things to do. 12 days of homework to be marked and they're for around 200 students. It's endless.....

I have been invited to a couple of open house. Yummy! This weekend, I'll have another one. It's nice to see the students in a different environment. They act differently.

Hari Raya Break

I'm on a long break now. Only this time of the year, we get to take a long break from the centre. The next long break will be during the Christmas and New Year week.

Everything went well on Tuesday despite the fact that my Ms Admin was not there.

Korean boy came in with positive attitude....maybe he thought it over about what I said last week, and accepted my positive feedback.

All in a day's work

Today was a challenging day for me. I didn't even take a break throughout the day. My first appointment was at 10:15. Mrs Singh stayed till about 10:55. She has 3 children and we had a lot of sharing. My second appointment was with Mrs Cheok. She came at 5 minutes past 11. She didn't stay long because we only had one student to discuss about. The last appointment for the afternoon was Mimi. She was my school mate. First, we discussed about her 3 children. Then, we talked about old times...it was so much fun and we dragged on talking till about 1. She came at about 11:45.

Right after all the appoinments, I had to updates a stack of files on my table.

One of my staff reported sick, so all her students were diverted to my classroom. All seats were taken from 3pm to 5 pm.

What made me really tired was one Korean student, who decided to be difficult.

Tomorrow is going to be an easy day. Good Instructor friend decided to give me a treat for my birthday.... phew.....
