Dedication to me .....

A good friend dedicated one of her blog posting to me. I'd like to share it.

If you don’t want to be ill... ...

Speak your feelings.Emotions and feelings that are hidden, repressed, end in illnesses as: gastritis, ulcer, lumbar pains, spinal. With time, the repression of the feelings degenerates to the cancer. Then, we go to a confidante, to share our intimacy, ours "secret", our errors! The dialogue, the speech, the word, is a powerful remedy and an excellent therapy!

If you don’t want to be ill... ...

Find Solutions.Negative people do not find solutions and they enlarge problems. They prefer lamentation, gossip, pessimism. It is better to light a match that to regret the darkness. A bee is small, but produces one of the sweetest things that exist. We are what we think. The negative thought generates negative energy that is transformed into illness.

If you don’t want to be ill......

Don’t Live By AppearancesWho hides reality, pretends , poses and always wants to give the impression of being well. He wants to be seen as perfect, easy-going, etc. but is accumulating tons of weight. A bronze statue with feet of clay. There is nothing worse for the health than to live on appearances and facades. These are people with a lot of varnish and little root. Their destiny is the pharmacy, the hospital and pain.

If you don’t want to be ill... ...

Trust.Who does not trust, does not communicate, is not opened, is not related, does not create deep and stable relations, does not know to do true friendships. Without confidence, there is not relationship. Distrust is a lack of faith in you and in faith itself.

If you don’t want to be ill... ...

Do Not Live Life Sad.Good humor. Laughter. Rest. Happiness. These replenish health and bring long life. The happy person has the gift to improve the environment wherever they live. “Good humor saves us from the hands of the doctor". Happiness is health and therapy.

If you don’t want to be ill... ...

Accept. The refusal of acceptance and the absence of self-esteem, make us alienate ourselves. Being at one with ourselves is the core of a healthy life. They who do not accept this, become envious, jealous, imitators, ultra-competitive, destructive. Be accepted, accept that you are accepted, accept the criticisms. It is wisdom, good sense and therapy.

The Art of Being Well by Dr. Dráuzio

Dedicated to my friend NAM who has gone through a lot the past few years. I am so glad that you have decided to end your sorrow and avoid the TOXIC in your life. All the best, my dear...You deserve better...

I finally got the Award!

A big thank you to everyone who have shaped my life in the past 10 years. Sweat, Tears and Laughter. They're equally important and valuable.
My journey has just begun.

I've been waiting for this award from the beginning of this year.

Organising a High School Reunion.

For the first time, I took up the challenge to be part of the organising team to organise a reunion. What more can I say, it's my own high school reunion. I was in a great team. We were all from different background, different in many ways but what bonded us together was our school. BBGS, short for Bukit Bintang Girls' School.

We had a blast putting things together and even bigger blast having fun at the reunion itself. We managed to get some teachers dancing for us and the happiest time was when we got our former headmistress to be there to witness it all. So inspiring.

So many old friends came from every corners of the world. We had Lorraine from Austria, Lubna from Dubai, Suet Poh, Ida, Jin-Hui and a few others from Australia. We also had Pui leng all the way from Netherlands. It was just awesome!!!!

Prior to the actual reunion, I organised a few smaller reunions. I wanted to get all the girls all excited about the real ones.

In fact, 2 nights before the actual reunion, we managed to get some girls together for a pre reunion night.

I'm happy now that I have so many friends from everywhere in the world and just happy to be talking about school days.

BBGS Forever!!!!!

Bird Park FUN day!!!

We had a hot and sweaty day at the Bird Park today. It was not a big group, but big enough to take days of planning.
We gathered at the centre around 8:30am and took off by bus at around 9:00am. Everything was on time. We reached the Park just when the ranger was coming out to meet us.
The children behaved and I thank god, there was no injuries or accidents. Lucas had a little bit of wheezing experience....but did not stop him from smiling and laughing.
Lunch was served at 11:30 and everybody had enough (more than enough for some) to eat. We also were treated to Ribena!!!!
We had our photo sessions while waiting for the Bird Show. It was a bit dragging, but I thought it was a good rest. We all enjoyed the bird show.
Mei Lian and Syazlan were brave enough to volunteer themselves to participate during the show.
I came back with headache....from the heat. But tonight...the real headache...We left some bags and trophies at the corridor of our centre, which is a public area. I can't go there because it's too late and the only thing I can do right now is wait till tomorrow morning.
I'm trying not to be angry at my brother, but, I am.
