18 days after

I'm on my way back from a trip to Seattle and Vancouver. a trip that has been planned for months. Somehow or rather, when i was there, problem at the centre occurs again. This time it's regarding the staff. The two senior staff made a big commotion when Mr R decided they should be part timers. Headache.....major headache. Part of the Vancouver trip was very challenging when my mind was so preoccupied.

By the 3rd day, i kind of sorted it out in my mind and feel better and find some kind of solution.

Hopefully this is the end. I dont even feel like goimg back to the centre anymore. 

FINALLY!!!!!

This morning, Mr R signed his Franchise Agreement. the deal is sealed!!!!!

Feeling a big relieved. Burden off my shoulder. So many things I want to write, so many things I want to tell, but I just need some alone time and some time to finish a lot of things at the centre before the big handover.

In the end....everything ends well. Alhamdulillah. Kumon do appreciate all my effort for the last 15 years. I am walking away with a "15 years service award" in my hand. I can now walk away straight and stand up tall without feeling low about myself.

Parents are taking it well too. so many well wishers. many from the past as well. after this.....a new life will begin. i would like to create a new blog with my new life.

Almost there!

This time, I can almost see the finishing line. I am going to hand over my centre by end of May and Mr R will be my successor.

He made it through the 2nd interview, and that is as good as a go!

Last week, we were shocked again by being disturbed by his instructor, J. She wanted a 50/50 business deal at the centre Mr R is taking over.

Today, Mr R said she avoided him as he was stern about not sharing the business with her.

I kept reminding Mr R, he worked hard for this centre. And he deserves it.

Focus is on the future

A lot has been going on at the centre. Between the centre and the master franchisor.

A new franchise agreement is out and everything is just not right. I have also joined an association to fight and stand up for our rights.

I have also shared with the staff of my intention to no renewing my contract.

I want to now not think so much about my future at the centre.

My main job now is to prepare mysellf for my next life. Being a diplomat's wife.

With this, I will end my blog entry about my personal life and will create a new blog with a new title.

This blog will only be for the last few months I have with Kumon.
